Borini tipped for Jaunary move to Inter Milan

Fabio Borini is set to end his Liverpool nightmare after Inter Milan were linked with a January move for the striker.

Borini was almost heading to Sunderland, who were linked practically all summer with him. But a move never materialised. Now Borini, who is unlikely to see much game time anytime soon at Anfield, could now move to the Italian club in the January transfer window.

Borini has come under fire for pricing himself out of a move to QPR with wage demands. Now the Italian side could use the next few months to get their finances sorted to make a move for the unsettled forward.

Inter were unable to make a move this summer due to a lack of transfer funds, but they will make a couple of quick moves, including moving on Fredy Guarin and Zdravko Kuzmanovic. Guarin has been linked with a move to Manchester United.

Borini yesterday tweeted his frustration:

“Finally the madness is finished!

“I protected the MAN and the player that I am today taking all the responsibility of the situation and for people who didn’t want it.

“And I’m VERY happy with myself to have taken such an important decision!”

After the summer arrivals of Rickie Lambert and Mario Balotelli, Borini has fallen further down the Anfield pecking order, and a move now seems certain.
