Borussia Dortmund Not Interested In Selling Erling Haaland

Mino Raiola sent out shock waves regarding Erling Haaland’s future.

Numerous clubs are lining up to sign the prolific forward this summer.

Many of them are readying up attractive offers to convince Haaland into signing for them. The likes of Real Madrid, Barcelona, Chelsea, Manchester United and Manchester City are heading the chase.

Of course, Dortmund still have a contract with Haaland until June 2023. His release clause of €75m will only turn active after the 2021/22 season. Before that, clubs will have to pay a premium sum to land him. Raiola and Alfe-Inge Haaland were noted to have travelled to various clubs to discuss terms regarding a future move.

Raiola said, “I can confirm that I was in Dortmund to talk. [Dortmund sporting director] Michael Zorc made it clear to us that the club does not want to sell Erling this summer. I respect that opinion, but it doesn’t automatically mean that I also agree. Borussia was very clear in their point of view. There is no war between us and Dortmund, absolutely not! The relationship is still very good.”

This could be an avenue to raise Haaland’s value even more in the transfer market. He is the most sought-after forward in Europe currently and clubs are ready to meet all of their demands.
