Manchester United goalkeeper to miss out again

The Spaniard was left out of Louis Van Gaal‘s opening squad for the first game of the season against Tottenham Hotspur, and it’s now broken that he won’t be in the squad tomorrow evening either.

Sergio Romero is likely to continue in goal, with Sam Johnstone on the bench due to Victor Valdes and Anders Lindegaard both being told they can leave.

De Gea Excluded

Van Gaal said before the Premier League opener than De Gea wasn’t in the right state of mind to play, and he’s continued to back that decision by excluding him once again.

De Gea has been strongly linked with a move to Real Madrid, and after missing out once again for The Red Devils, speculation continues to mount regarding his future.

Despite being excluded from the two Premier League squads, the ‘keeper has been included in United‘s Champions League squad.
