Skipper confirms he’s not having his deal extended
Chelsea captain John Terry has confirmed he will be leaving the club at the end of the season.
The veteran centre-back is entering the final few months of his contract at Stamford Bridge, and speaking after the FA Cup tie with MK Dons, he confirmed that this will be his last season with his boyhood club.
Due to his age and the club policy, Chelsea officials would only offer him 12-month extensions, but he has today confirmed that they won’t be extending his deal any further.
Terry has confirmed he won’t stay in England as he refuses to play for another Premier League club, sparking speculation that he’s set for a final stint in the MLS.
