Arsenal forward, Theo Walcott has reassured Arsenal fans this evening by confirming that he won’t be walking out of the club in January.
He has ensured fans that he will see out the rest of the season at least and then see what happens in May.
The 23-year-old is in his last year contract-wise and there has been a lot of speculation about his future, but he has today confirmed that he won’t be leaving in January.
The forward has confirmed that he doesn’t want to sign a pre-contract with a foreign club which he can do when he runs into his final six months and he has also said that he doesn’t want to move to another Premier League club in January either.
It is rumoured that Walcott does want to stay at Arsenal, but he wants to be given a central role rather than be used on the wing. With this knowledge, Arsenal boss, Arsene Wenger has actually played Theo as the centre forward in the last two games.
This news will delight Arsenal and Arsenal fans alike as they look to avoid losing another superstar.
