Sky Sources confirm there were never emergency talks held at Stamford Bridge
Sky Sports News have confirmed that Chelsea Football Club DIDN’T hold emergency talks following the Leicester City defeat, but Jose Mourinho’s job HAS been discussed at board level.
Reports emerged claiming that talks were being held at board-level regarding Mourinho‘s future at the club following their ninth league defeat of the season.
However, those claims have now been dismissed according to Sky Sports News.
No Emergency Talks
Mourinho’s Chelsea lost 2-1 to Leicester City, keeping them 16th in the Premier League and just one-point above the relegation zone.
Questions were raised about Mourinho’s job and his future, but so far it seems his job is safe for now. However, talks have been ongoing at board level regarding his long-term future.
