Carlo Ancelotti will be his replacement

Pep Guardiola has officially confirmed he will be leaving Bayern Munich at the end of the season and will be replaced with Carlo Ancelotti.

The Spaniard’s future has been up in the air for the past few days, with speculation high that he’s set to leave the Allianz Arena for a job in the Premier League.

However, he has now officially confirmed that he will be leaving Bayern and will be replaced by former-Real Madrid boss Ancelotti.

Guardiola and Ancelotti

Guardiola has been at Bayern for two years, winning back-to-back Bundesliga titles and also the German cup.

As for Ancelotti, he left the Bernabeu at the end of last season and has been out of work since, but was strongly linked with a move to Liverpool and also a return to Chelsea.

However, he will return to management and will take over in Germany at the end of the current campaign.
