Jose Mourinho confirms striker will be absent for ‘a few weeks’
Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho has confirmed that Radamel Falcao will be sidelined for ‘a few weeks’ after sustaining an ‘important injury’.
The Blues manager was facing the media today ahead of the Champions League game against Dynamo Kiev tomorrow evening and he confirmed that the Colombian suffered a muscle injury in training.
Falcao has been second-string all season, behind Diego Costa, but with the Spaniard’s injury record and Loic Remy not favoured by Mourinho, the blow could become a crucial one for Chelsea.

Speaking about the striker, Mourinho said:Â “Falcao has today suffered an important injury.
“Not so important as the ones that he had previously, but he had an important muscular injury.
“He will be out for a few weeks.”
