Swiss winger’s move to Premier League is back on
Inter Milan winger Xherdan Shaqiri is currently having a medical at Stoke City ahead of a proposed move.
The Swiss international was linked with The Potters earlier in the summer, but after the two club’s agreed to a transfer fee, the player snubbed the move and decided to remain in Italy.
Shaqiri U-Turn
However, in a dramatic turn of events, Shaqiri was spotted at the Britannia Stadium yesterday watching Mark Hughes‘ men play Liverpool in their season opener.
Shaqiri, who only joined Inter Milan last season, is now undergoing a medical in England and should be announced a Stoke player come the end of the week.
Despite their opening day defeat at home to Liverpool, Stoke are building a rather strong looking outfit with Ibrahim Afellay and Shaqiri joining as well as Bojan returning from injury.
