Manchester United have made a bid for Newport County’s 17-year-old defender Regan Poole
The offer for the Wales Under-17 international is believed to be £100,000 with the potential to rise to £400,000.
The teenager, who spent time on trial at United and Liverpool, is due to arrive at United’s training ground this lunchtime for a medical.
Hull City have also made an offer in the region of £60,000 plus add-ons to the League Two Club for Poole’s services.
The Welsh outfit are also receiving interest from Burnley for striker Aaron Collins with a bid of around £40,000 plus add-ons expected to have been tabled by the Championship side.
Both players featured on the bench at the weekend, during a 1-0 loss at Plymouth Argyle, leaving County bottom of League Two with one point from their last five matches.
