Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers is weighing up a potential Summer bid for Manchester United and Chelsea targets Paul Pogba and Arturo Vidal.
The Reds are expected to continue their busy transfer window as they look to reinvest the money made from selling Luis Suarez to FC Barcelona, and Rodgers is now looking into defensive midfielders to help strengthen the sides midfield.
Pogba and Vidal have both been strongly linked with moves away from Juventus, with United and Chelsea keen on landing them, and after Antonio Conte left the Serie A champions this week, the club could face losing their big stars.
Rodgers is prepared to continue spending, with several players linked with moves to Anfield, and the Juventus duo would be two sensational signings for the Merseyside club.
It’s not understood how much Juve want for their midfield duo, but all Liverpool, United and Chelsea do have the funds to spend big if need be.
