Qatar club want to appoint former-Liverpool boss

Brendan Rodgers could be back in management sooner rather than later, with an un-named Qatar club ready to offer him a £10million contract.

The Qatari-based outfit are ready to offer the former-Liverpool manager the head-role and want to try and make an ambitious appointment to try and strengthen the image of the game out there.

Al Sadd have already managed to attract FC Barcelona legend Xavi to the club, on a £7m-a-year deal, and according to reports, a team from the same league want to appoint Rodgers as their head-coach.

Unknown Club

The team hasn’t been revealed as of yet, but according to reports, Rodgers has met up with the club’s officials and has been told he will earn around £10m-a-year.

It’s not yet known whether Rodgers would be tempted with a job out there, with some linking him to the Chelsea job should Jose Mourinho be fired.

Rodgers has been out of work since losing his job at Anfield last month, and has been strongly linked with the Queens Park Rangers job.
