Celtic are reportedly considering a move to sign Chelsea youngster Ola Aina.
The-19-year-old right back is expected to leave Stamford Bridge in the summer after rejecting a new contract with Chelsea due to the lack of playing time in the first team and the Daily Record report Celtic are ready to swoop.
Mikael Lustig is Celtic’s first choice right back, however, he is set to enter the final year of his contract.
The Hoops have experienced mixed fortunes with other young defenders signed from the English Premier League in recent seasons.
Jason Denayor signed on loan over from Manchester City and he impressed for Celtic, However, fellow Manchester City youngster Dedryck Boyata is yet to convince the club faithful and Manchester United kids Tyler Blacket and Saidy Janko have failed to hold down a place in the Hoops team.
It’s been reported that Brendan Rodgers is a keen fan of Aina and will table an offer in January.
