Ivan Toney will now travel to Saudi Arabia to be unveiled as a new Al-Ahli player this weekend.
Brentford striker Ivan Toney has completed a permanent move to Saudi Pro League side Al-Ahli. The Middle East club were planning to sign Napoli’s Victor Osimhen but they decided to go with Toney who is looking to find some challenges beyond Premier League.
Al Ahli wanted to sign a unique striker and Toney is a perfect option. As per reports, Osimhen had reportedly reached an agreement with Al-Ahli before Napoli increased their financial demands for the striker.

The Saudi Pro League side opted to walk away from negotiations and they signed Brentford man Ivan Toney. According to journalist Fabrizio Romano, Saudi club have completed a deal to sign the Englishman from Brentford for £40m.
Toney had entered the final year of his Brentford deal and completed his medical in London on Friday. The 28-year-old will now travel to Saudi Arabia to be unveiled as a new Al-Ahli player this weekend.
