Calum Chambers heading to Watford on loan

Young Gunners defender heading to Vicarage Road this season

Young Arsenal defender Calum Chambers seems set to go on loan at Watford for the 2016/17 season.

The England U21 international joined the Gunners in 2014 for a fee of £16million but he made just two starts in the Premier League last season.

Arsene Wenger remains a huge fan of the 21-year-old but feels he needs consistent first-team football to realise his potential.

Watford have promised to field Chambers in over 50% of their matches and the defender is reportedly open to joining the Hornets.
