The Italian wants to return to management

Carlo Ancelotti wants to make his comeback as a manager next season, with the Premier League being his priority.

The 56-year old has previously had coaching experience in England’s top flight with Chelsea, where he won the Premier League and FA Cup double in his first campaign in charge (2010).

Despite bringing that success to Stamford Bridge, he couldn’t deliver trophies on a consistent basis and was ultimately sacked by the Blues’ owner Roman Abramovich in 2012.

However, he has recently been strongly linked with a return to West London, as Jose Mourinho’s future at the club remains in doubt after a poor start to this term.

‘If it’s in England, it’s better’

“I had a fantastic experience in France [Paris Saint-Germain] and Spain [Real Madrid]. The most important thing is to start; to find a club with a good project and be competitive. If it’s in England, it’s better,” admitted Ancelotti.

He also added: “I will stay out until the end of the season and try to find another club next season. Not just in England, it can be in another country, but my idea is not to start now.”
