Former Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti is reportedly ready to take up an opportunity in the Premier League should be offered one in the near future.
The Italian has been out of management since leaving Los Blancos last summer, and was linked to the Liverpool job before Jurgen Klopp took the reigns at Anfield.
Since then, his former club Chelsea have had a major dip in form which has led to boss Jose Mourinho to come under fire, with Ancelotti one of the names mooted as a potential replacement should the Blues lose confidence in Mourinho.
However, with Louis Van Gaal not expected to be at Manchester United for the long haul, Ancelotti is apparently leaning towards a job at Old Trafford over a return to Chelsea.
Wherever Ancelotti ends up it’ll be a big coup for a club, with the Italian one of the most decorated managers left in the game following a string of domestic and European titles to his name.
