Top European footbal expert Andy Brassell has claimed that a move to Manchester United for PSG striker Edinson Cavani seems ‘unlikely’ this summer.
The PSG star has been linked with a big money move to Old Trafford several times, and is a target for other top European clubs, but Brassell claims that United need players in other positions.
“It’s quite unlikely,” he told TalkSport, when asked about the move. “Manchester United have other areas of the team they need to improve.
“PSG do want to sell a big player this summer but they don’t want it to be Cavani.
“He’s been complaining all season about not playing at centre-forward so, if he did turn up, Wayne Rooney or Robin van Persie would have to move.
“United would never have been able to keep all of them happy. They have other fish to fry.”
