Chelsea goalkeeper wants London switch

According to reports, Chelsea goalkeeper Petr Cech is 99.9% certain that he will move to London rivals Arsenal over the Summer.

The veteran shot-stopper is expected to end his long-term association with The Blues at the end of the season after falling down the pecking order at Stamford Bridge.

Number-Two at Chelsea

At the beginning of the season, Jose Mourinho told Cech that he will be his number-two, behind youngster Thibaut Courtois, who had returned from a three-year loan spell at Atletico Madrid.

The Belgium is over a decade younger than Cech and is seen as one of the best young goalkeepers in the world, and despite wanting to stay at the club last Summer, Cech now wants to leave.

Mourinho is adamant on keeping the veteran, but understands that he wants to play regular football and Chelsea cannot offer him that.

The Czech international chose to remain at The Bridge last Summer in order to fight for his starting spot, but one year down the line, he has failed to win back his number-one jersey and is now ready to leave.

Cech Wants England Stay

Cech is desperate to stay in England, which has alerted Liverpool, Arsenal and Manchester United.

Liverpool and Arsenal are keen on replacing their current goalkeepers, whilst United are preparing for life after David De Gea, who looks set for Real Madrid.

Arsenal Favourites

However, according to reports, Cech is 99.9% certain that he wants to move to Arsenal and is only waiting on Roman Abramovich to finalise the deal.

It’s believed The Gunners will pay ÂŁ10million for Cech, and it could see Arsene Wenger sell either David Ospina or Wojciech Szczesny.
