Cesc Fabregas says that Jose Mourinho is “one of the best managers in the world.”
Fabregas was booed by Blues fans after it was revealed he had been one of the main instigators behind Mourinho’s Stamford Bridge exit.
However, the Spain international has praised his old boss and dismissed claims the Manchester United manager would nullify the creative talents.
“No I don’t think so,” he said in a YouTube interview.
“It’s always been said something like that about Jose and I don’t agree at all.
“He loves winning, he loves playing, and playing well.
“He will never tell you, like people think he does, that you have to defend, to park the bus. He has never said that.
“He never trains you this way. He always trained possession, fluid, attacking football.
“Okay, sometimes if you’re winning in a difficult game he plays his cards. He knows how to deal with every question.
“That’s why he’s one of the best managers in the world.”
