Chelsea have reportedly accepted an £18m bid from Wolves for Tammy Abraham, according to reports.
The Chelsea forward is currently on a season long loan at Aston Villa in the Championship but could cut short his loan spell if the Blues decide to sell him eventually to the newly promoted side.
The 21 year old has been in red hot form for Villa but couldn’t find a spot in the Chelsea squad due to their bizarre loan strategy. A number of young Chelsea players are currently plying their trades at various clubs and are doing pretty good.
Abraham has netted 16 goals so far and his impressive form hasn’t gone unnoticed as a number of clubs have expressed their interest in the player. Wolves have done considerably well since getting promoted to the top tier and Nuno Espirito Santo is further trying to strengthen some departments as he is eyeing a finish in the top half of the table.
If the youngster is to leave it would be a massive blow to Villa’s promotional hopes. The forward has been the focal point of Dean Smith’s plan but now it seems the Villa manager needs to alter his plans.
