Chelsea and Arsenal are reportedly set to battle it out to sign 17 year old Frenchman Allan Saint-Maximin from St.Etienne.
The young attacking midfielder is tipped as the next big thing in French football, after some stellar performances this season in France’s top division.
These displays have caught the eye of the two London clubs, according to French publication Le 10 Sport.
Chelsea hold a slight advantage over the Gunners, having already done business with the French club, signing Kurt Zouma.
St.Etienne find themselves just two points off a Champions League spot in Ligue 1, and therefore will be very reluctant to relinquish one of their prized assets.
