Chelsea and Manchester United have young Brazilian Lucas Silva in their sights, but if they wish to acquire his talents, they have been told they must pay £12million pound in the hope of beating the likes of Milan and Madrid.

Silva who has been affectionately nicknamed the ‘next Kaka’ currently earns his trade in Brazil playing for Cruzeiro. The 21 year old is a midfielder and has begun to turn head across the globe with his recent displays.

Inter have looked most likely to sign Silva but his agent has recently spoken out about his potential move to Europe saying;

“I had contact with Inter in the past, not now, but I think they’re liaising directly with Cruzeiro.

“Will he leave in January? It’s possible he may go during the winter market, but it all depends on the offers that will be presented.

“Up until now there has been no concrete offers. The only problem for Inter is that the cost of the player may be too expensive for the Nerazzurri.”

It was felt that Madrid would become favourites to sign the player as it is believed the player would prefer a move to the Bernabeu.

But Silvas agent has also refused these claims saying;

“For Lucas, he does not have a club he prefers, he’s only interested in a good proposal for his career and to do this there must be a very good offer.

“Inter are interested, but I do not know if they have the money to support this transfer.

“We are talking no less than €15m (£12m), and that’s not even what the president of Cruzeiro has said he’d accept.”
