Turkish Super Lig club Kasimpasa has rejected a bid for their striker Mbaye Diagne by Chelsea.

The Senegalese international has been on the radar of a number of English clubs including Chelsea and Leeds United.

According to TeamTalk, Turkish Super Lig club Kasimpasa has rejected a bid worth somewhere around £13.5million by Chelsea for their Senegalese striker Mbaye Diagne. The player has been linked with a number of English clubs including Chelsea and Leeds United. The player has been in prolific form this season and has scored 20 goals for his club in just 17 games, helping them to head into the top four in the league table.

Chelsea have been looking to add some serious firepower to their attack with both the strikers, Alvaro Morata and Olivier Giroud misfiring throughout this season. Chelsea gaffer Maurizio Sarri has been looking for reinforcements on an urgent basis and has eyed a number of strikers including the Senegalese international but there has reportedly been no positive reply as far as Kasimpasa is concerned. The situation has been so dire at Chelsea that Sarri has had to make use Eden Hazard, who is more of a winger, as a striker to lead the line in the last few matches.

The report also states that the Turkish outfit is only ready to let their star striker leave if the west London club agree to shell out double the amount they had offered for the striker.
