Chelsea are believed to be readying a bid for Spanish international midfielder Isco before the end of the summer transfer window.
The Express have claimed that Jose Mourinho is eyeing a move for the creative play-maker in an attempt to freshen up his squad following an indifferent start to the campaign,
With competition for places extremely high at Madrid, Isco could be tempted by the attraction of first team football at Stamford Bridge, with Juventus also thought to be keen.
Isco’s technical ability has made him a fan favourite at the Bernabeu following his move from Malaga in 2013, however due to the form and goals of Cristiano Ronaldo, Gareth Bale and James Rodriguez, he’s been unable to nail down a permanent position in the side.
The bid that Chelsea are thought to be preparing is in the region of £33 million, which is over £5 million more than what Juventus are said to be prepared to pay for the player.
With just 14 days to go until the transfer window slams shut until January, any move for the Spaniard will have to be done quickly.
