According to reports, Chelsea are keen on signing a young Romanian superstar Florinel Coman.
Florinel Teodor Coman is a Romanian professional footballer who plays for Steaua București mainly as a winger.
The Blues are reported to be keen on luring the youngster over to Stamford Bridge, However, they may have to pay out some big money to land the teen sensation, as they look for the right man to partner with Eden Hazard in their front line.
According to the story in The Sun, the winger has a £88m release clause – although the Blues might well be able to prise him away for less than that given he cost Steaua just £2m in August.
Now according to other reports, Technical director Michael Emenalo went and checked out promising 19-year-old in Romania just last week.
He saw Coman help in Steaua to a 1-0 win over city rivals Dinamo.
Although Coman is famed for playing on the left he can operate quite happily all across the front line.
This versatile teenager has already been capped five times by Romania’s Under-21 side.
The Daily Mail reports that Steau’s owner Gigi Becali looks upon him as being at the same level as Kylian Mbappe… hence an £88m release clause.
