Jose Callejon, John Stones and Baba Rahman on the radar

Chelsea are reportedly close to securing three transfers worth a combined fee of around £50million.

The news comes just days after Jose Mourinho accused his Premier League title rivals of trying to buy the league, with this triple swoop taking their spending to more than Arsenal‘s.

The Gunners have only spent £11m so far this summer, signing Petr Cech from Chelsea, and The Blues are set to spend £39m more than that by bringing in three new faces.

Callejon Targeted

According to reports, the Premier League champions are closing in on Napoli forward Jose Callejon, and may make a formal bid of around £15.5m.

Mourinho is in the market for a forward/attacking midfielder despite the wealth of options already at the club and the arrival of Radamel Falcao.

Callejon could be seen as a replacement for Mohamed Salah and/or Juan Cuadrado, who are both expected to leave Stamford Bridge.

Stones Wanted

Next on Chelsea’s list is Everton centre-back John Stones.

The Blues have already had a £20m bid rejected by The Toffees, but according to reports, they could make a fresh bid worth around £26m any day now.

Left-Back Replacement

The final signing would see Augsburg left-back, Baba Rahman complete a move to West London in a deal worth around £8m.

Filipe Luis is expected to depart The Bridge after just one season, and Mourinho wants Rahman to come in and replace the Brazilian, who’s set for a move back to Atletico Madrid.
