According to the Mirror, The Blues are confident of overtaking Liverpool to the signing of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang
Chelsea are said to be closing in on a £65m deal for the Borussia Dortmund star.
Aubameyang is set to leave Dortmund this summer and the 28-year-old has been strongly linked with a move to the Premier League in recent weeks after snubbing a big-money move to China.
The Mirror claim Chelsea are now confident of beating Liverpool to Aubameyang’s signature as the Premier League champions are believed to be closing-in on a £65m deal.
He is also being targeted by AC Milan, Man City and has had offers from China, with Tianjin Quanjian reportedly prepared to still offer him a record-breaking salary, which he will no doubt reject as well.
Now the BVB star has Blues fans wondering if his current instagram post is a hint that he is making the move to Stamford Bridge.
Aubameyang captioned the photo along with the hashtag ‘#moodoftheday’, and now some Chelsea fans believe his choice of attire is a hint.
The 28-year-old was wearing practically all blue, a colour synonymous with the Stamford Bridge outfit.
