Chelsea could use Batshuayi for mega swap deal

Chelsea are reportedly set to employ Michy Batshuayi as a replacement to rope in Monaco star Thomas Lemar.

According to a report in The Telegraph, Chelsea is willing to offer players in in a bid to acquire Lemar, who has been linked to a move to the Premier League for a while.

The French international was close to be signed by Arsenal with an £89million bid on deadline day, but it did not bear fruit after Manchester City failed to seal the deal with Alexis Sanchez.

Despite Alvaro Morata unavailable for the Huddersfield Town game, Batshuayi warmed the benches, with Antonio Conte preferring to go with the trio of Hazard, Willian and Pedro.

This season, Batshuayi has made only eight appearances for Chelsea, even as Conte has looked at alternative options to help assist Morata at the top. Lemar could be swapped at Monaco by Batshuayi, a move that could be helped by the fact that their sporting director Michael Emenalo is a big fan of the Belgian.
