Premier League title-holders deny claims of a bust-up between John Terry and Diego Costa

Chelsea have denied recent claims that captain John Terry, and forward Diego Costa were involved in a training-ground bust-up at the club’s Cobham training ground on Monday.

The Blues are in crisis following Saturday’s 3-1 defeat at the hands of Everton – leaving them 17th in the Premier League, having picked up just four points from five encounters to date.

A Steven Naismith hat-trick condemned Chelsea to another defeat, with the Stamford Bridge outfit now in an unfamiliar position in the league standings.

And reports suggest that Chelsea’s poor form saw Terry and Costa in a bust-up, something the West Londoners have swiftly denied, as they prepare for their Champions League game against Maccabi Tel Aviv.

Ahead of the European tie against the Israeli side, Mourinho has banned banter, in an effort to get Chelsea’s campaign up and running.
