Chelsea duo Petr Cech and John Terry are set to miss the remaining games of the season after suffering injuries against Atletico Madrid last night in the Champions League Semi-Final.
The Blues goalkeeper went off in the first-half with an elbow injury after clattering into the cross-bar whilst dealing with an aerial ball, and then Terry was forced off in the second-half due to an ankle injury after landing on it awkwardly.
It ended 0-0 in Spain which is a fantastic result for Jose Mourinho’s side and it gives them a massive chance of getting into another European final, but if they are to do so, they will have to do it without two of their key stars at the back.
After the game Mourinho confirmed that Terry would only be able to feature again this season if they made the Champions League final, whilst he confirmed Cech would not appear again.
