Ukrainian is wanted by Arsenal and Liverpool

Chelsea are the latest team to be linked with a January move for Dynamko Kiev midfielder Andriy Yarmolenko, alongside their Premier League rivals, Arsenal and Liverpool.

The 25-year-old has been on Liverpool‘s radar for sometime now, but Arsenal have recently been showing interest in him ahead of the winter transfer window.

However, Chelsea have now reportedly entered the race after Jose Mourinho was spotted scouting him during the Ukraine match in mid-week.

Mourinho Scouting Mission

Mourinho was spotted wearing unusual attire and it’s believed he was watching Yarmolenko ahead of making a possible bid in January.

The Blues have struggled so far this season and sit 16th in the Premier League, despite winning the title just a few months ago, and Mourinho is ready to make changes in the New Year.

A centre-back is expected to be signed but the Portuguese could also add to his attacking options, with Yarmolenko on his list.

Oscar, Cesc Fabregas and Eden Hazard have all struggled for form in recent weeks, while Pedro has also been slow at settling into life at Stamford Bridge.
