Blues step up interest in Blaise Matuidi
Chelsea are interested in Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Blaise Matuidi, according to reports.
The London outfit are looking for an adequate replacement for midfielder Ramires, who left the club in order for a move to China in January for £25million.
In the summer, it’s thought the Blues will be looking for another midfielder to replace the Brazilian and 28-year-old Matuidi is seen as the ideal fit.
Matuidi arrived at the Parc des Princes in 2011 from Saint-Etienne. Since then he has became a fan favorite playing just shy of 160 games for the club.

Matiuidi isn’t the only player on Chelsea‘s wish list however.
Frenchman Paul Pogba may also be approached in order to push Chelsea up the table next term.
It is thought that Matuidi would need to be persuaded to join Chelsea, as he loves living in France.
