What a coup this could be for Chelsea!

Chelsea are planning a £130m summer transfer swoop for the Real Madrid trio of Gareth Bale, Raphael Varane, and Jese Rodriguez, according to reports in Spain.

Jose Mourinho is keen to completely overhaul his current squad, with the Portuguese native keen to be reunited with both Varane and Rodriguez, who he worked with during his stint in charge at the Santiago Bernabeu.

The Blues may have competition for French international Varane, as French side PSG are also keeping tabs on the £40m rated full-back, whilst Jese will be available for around the £15m mark.

Chelsea have sent scouts out to watch the pair, who have been linked with a move to Stamford Bridge for quite some time now, as Chelsea look to bolster for next season, a season in which they will be hoping to retain their Premier League title crown, as the West Londoners look all but set to seal the league this time around.

Blues want Bale

The third name on that list may surprise a few people. Gareth Bale continues to be linked with a return to the English top-flight.

Wales-international Bale, aged 25, joined Madrid for a world-record fee of £83m in the summer of 2013 from Tottenham Hotspur, though has somewhat struggled for consistency this season, following a fine individual campaign last term.

Chelsea’s Premier league rivals, Manchester United, have also pursued an interest in Bale, who is valued at around £90m by the European Cup holders.

Bale has netted 21-times in all for club and country this season.
