Frenchman could be on his way to England
Chelsea are favourites to sign Juventus star Paul Pogba and are prepared to pay £57million for the midfielder this summer.
The Blues have raced ahead of Manchester United and Manchester City to sign the France international.
The 22-year-old is set to move away from the Juventus Stadium to Stamford Bridge in the summer transfer window, with manager Jose Mourinho lining up a £57million bid for the former-United youth player.
Juventus insist the Frenchman is not for sale but it looks as though Pogba will be returning to the Premier League next season after leaving Old Trafford in 2012.
Pogba’s Unhappy Spell in England
Pogba initially left England after falling out of favour with Sir Alex Ferguson and failing to break into The Red Devils first-team.
In an interview, the midfielder admitted that he knew it was time to leave when he couldn’t even get a game in the Capital One Cup. Since leaving United, he has won three Serie A titles and is set to star in the Champions League final on Saturday in Berlin as The Old Lady face FC Barcelona.
