Chelsea have been scouting highly-rated Lazio star Stefan de Vrij.
According to the report, The Blues are on the look out for a replacement for Captain John Terry who is speculated to be retiring at the end of this season.
It’s also reported that De Vrij will be the one to fill that void, however no official word from Chelsea Football Club.
The Blues reportedly made an offer of €35 million for him last summer according to reports and their long interest in the player and the fact that the Blues are more willing spender than Arsenal could see Chelsea winning the race to sign the 6′ 2″ tall defender.
According to linked reports Arsenal are said to be interested as well, however it seems unlikely as they don’t really need a new center back.
