Blues forced to pay £25,000 for player’s behaviour against West Ham United

Chelsea Football Club will have to pay the FA £25,000 for the behaviour of their players against West Ham United on Saturday.

The Blues lost once again in the Premier League thanks to goals from Mauro Zarate and Andy Carroll, and it was a game that left Chelsea players reeling.

Chelsea Behaviour Problems

Chelsea received five yellow cards and a red-card as Nemanja Matic was dismissed for two bookable offences, as well as Cesar Azpilicueta, Cesc Fabregas, Willian, Diego Costa and Jon Obi Mikel all being shown yellow cards.

As well as on the pitch, Chelsea had problems on the touchline as Jose Mourinho and one of his coaches were sent to the stands for their behaviour.

An FA spokesman said earlier today that the fine is automatic, but Chelsea may face further charges once again.
