Bertrand Traore has officially completed his £16million move to Lyon ,
The Forward penned a five-year deal and the Blues have added a buy back clause.
Chelsea made the mistake of not putting a buy-back clause in Romelu Lukaku’s contract when he signed for Everton three years ago.
However, according to the Daily Mail, they haven’t repeated that error.
Reports claim Chelsea have placed a buy-back option in his deal as with Nathan Ake, who is expected to join Bournemouth.
After sealing a switch to Lyon, Traore said: “I want to help the club go far.
“Personally, I have set a goal to seek stability and, by signing a contract at lyon, can not ask for better.
“I have time to show everyone what I can do and what I am worth.”
Meanwhile, Chelsea are said to be closing in on deals for Monaco star Tiemoue Bakayoko and Juventus’ Alex Sandro.
