Chelsea have been dealt a huge boost ahead of their crucial season run-in as both Petr Cech and John Terry have surprisingly returned to training.

The duo picked up injuries against Atletico Madrid last week in Spain, and after the game, Jose Mourinho revealed that they would both miss the rest of the season, Cech with an elbow injury and Terry with an ankle injury, but today the pair were snapped taking part in full-training with the rest of their team-mates.

Chelsea are preparing for their crucial second-leg with Madrid which takes place at Stamford Bridge tomorrow night, and when confronted by a Sky Sports reporter, Cech confirmed that he was fit enough to feature in the game.

It isn’t clear whether they will be used tomorrow night or not, but it seems that Mourinho lied when saying they would both miss the rest of the season and it’s expected that they will play some part in their remaining matches.
