Chelsea goalkeeper wants talks with Mourinho

On-loan Chelsea goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois is desperate to sit down and talk with Jose Mourinho so that he can discuss where his future lies.

The Belgium shot-stopper has been out on loan to Spanish side Atletico Madrid for the last three seasons now, and he is growing increasingly frustrated with the lack of chances given to him at Stamford Bridge.

Petr Cech is still regarded as the number-one at The Bridge and that doesn’t look like changing anytime soon, and Courtois wants his future sorted out before April, so that he can understand where he will be playing his football next season.

The 21-year-old is attracting attention from several European clubs and according to reports in Beglium, talks with Mourinho are set to take place in the next fortnight.

‘My agent is talking with Chelsea. One of the coming weeks I’ll have a chat with José Mourinho.’

‘I think there will be a decision about my future at the end of March, or in the first weeks of April.’
