Chelsea are hoping that their star striker Diego Costa is not facing a lengthy injury lay-off after he was forced to withdraw from the Spain squad due to a hamstring injury.
Costa has been burdened with similar problems for several months, and had to limp off the field during Spain’s game vs France during the week.
He has enjoyed a fine start to his Chelsea career since signing over the summer, scoring goals in his first 3 Premier League appearances, including two against Everton in the entertaining 6-3 victory last week.
