According to reports, Chelsea are interested in signing Raheem Sterling from Liverpool after the starlet did a recent interview discussing his future.
The 20-year-old admitted that snubbing a contract from Liverpool wasn’t down to him being greedy, but it was down to him wanting to play for a club that wins trophies on a regular basis, and he is set to decide his future at the end of the season.
It’s believed if The Reds fail to achieve a top-four finish and/or fail to win the FA Cup then Sterling will be off in the Summer, and both Arsenal and Chelsea are waiting in the wings.
In his press conference yesterday, Brendan Rodgers denied that Sterling would be leaving the club as he still has two years left on his current deal, whilst Arsene Wenger highly praised the winger and refused to rule out his interest.
However, reports have emerged this morning stating that Jose Mourinho is a huge admirer of Sterling and would be willing to pay up to £50million to sign the star.
