Chelsea looking to make a January move for the Barcelona and Brazil right back
Dani Alves, 32 is being targeted by Jose Mourinho as a short term replacement for Branislav Ivanovic who has had an awful season so far.
Alves has only played half of Barcelona’s games so far this season with Sergi Roberto filling in at full back in his absence and with Sevilla right back Aleix Vidal joining in January once Barcelona’s transfer ban is lifted, Alves may be deemed surplus to requirements.
The only alternative at right back for Chelsea at the moment is Cesar Azpilicueta who is currently their first choice left back so another right back is a priority.
