Chelsea have issued Diego Costa with a warning over his behaviour after he argued with manager Antonio Conte in public after Saturday’s win over Leicester City.
Star striker Costa became frustrated with the Italian’s ‘micro-management’ coaching style from the touchline and didn’t keep his thoughts to himself.
It was reported that the 28-year-old was unsettled at Stamford Bridge over the summer but has started this campaign in sublime goalscoring form.
However, questions are still asked as to whether he is still uneasy at Chelsea and now the club have issued him with a warning about his future conduct, according to the Daily Telegraph.
The Spain international was seen laughing with team-mates not long after the game at the weekend, so supporters will hope that any spat between himself and Conte is brushed under the carpet.
