Chelsea are keen to sign Shakhtar Donetsk’s Brazilian pair of Douglas Costa and Luis Adriano, according to the Metro.
Jose Mourinho is already focusing on adding new additions to his title-winning squad, with the West Londoners crowned Premier League champions’ on Sunday.
Both Costa and Adriano have impressed for Shakhtar in the Ukrainian league, and Mourinho has been impressed with their performances both domestically, and in European competitions.
And following their form for Donetsk, Chelsea are ready to make their move for the duo this coming summer.
With recent conflict in the eastern-European country, it is thought that both Costa, and Adriano are keen on a move to the western side on the continent, despite being on big wages in Ukraine.
Blues’ Brazilian swoop
Midfielder Costa, aged 24, is likely to be available for £20million, due to his contract not running out until the summer of 2018.
By contrast, Adriano will be a free-agent, when his current deal expires this summer. Mourinho will have competition for their signature, Premier league rivals Arsenal and Manchester United also remain interested, alongside Italian Serie A champions, Juventus.
