Chelsea keen on signing Europe’s fastest winger
Chelsea have made a move to sign Gelson Martins according to various reports. The Portuguese winger has been touted as the fastest winger in the top European leagues and is now on Chelsea’s radar.
Antonio Conte wants to sign a attacker in January and is keen on s winger mainly. He believes that there needs to be more options for him up front so that he can make enough changes when needed.

Martins has a £53.5 million release clause and was linked with Liverpool last summer. Barcelona and Juventus were also said to be keeping tabs on him but he’s still at Sporting Lisbon.
“Gelson is a player who is wanted by many clubs in the Premier League, La Liga, he is even admired by some Bundesliga sides. His future? As a professional, he must be ready for any eventuality, regardless of whether that is to stay in Lisbon or move elsewhere” said Martins agent.
Apart from Martins, Chelsea are also scouting Daniel Podence and William Carvalho according to the report in O Jogo.
