Chelsea are looking to hijack a proposed transfer deal to Manchester City for highly-rated youngster Terance Kongolo.
City are keen to reunite Kongolo, who currently plays for Dutch Eredivisie side Feyenoord, with his younger brother Rodney.
But according to reports in the Dutch press, Chelsea are the favourites to land the 20-year-old, who has impressed for both club and country in the last year ot so.
Meanwhile, Southampton remain keen to land the Dutch starlet, and hope the relationship with Ronald Koeman could possibly convince Kongolo to join the South coast high-flyers.
Kongolo only recently penned a new deal with Feyenoord, which will keep him at De Kuip until 2017.
