Chelsea are lining up a shock move for Liverpool’s Raheem Sterling. The England international has reportedly been interesting the Blues since the summer.
No move was made during the summer transfer window by Jose Mourinho but he could be about to make the first move this month. Reports from Spain are claiming he is currently putting together an astonishing bid of £50m for the youngster.
It could eventually cost even more than that with Brendan Rodgers extremely unwilling to let one of the club’s star players leave. The Reds gaffer claimed last week that Sterling is also close to signing a new deal at Anfield. But a £50m offer could be too much for Rodgers to turn down.
With this new interest now emerging, could the 20-year old be tempted to NOT sign a new deal and leave Liverpool for London?
