So Brighton and Hove Albion goalkeeper David Stockdale is now out of contract after his game against Aston Villa this weekend and if he doesn’t sign a new deal soon he will be available on the free transfer market.
The reason this doesn’t make any sense is  31-year-old David Stockdale who was named in the EFL Team of the Year, will without a doubt be the second choice to Thibault Courtois at Chelsea.
He’s 31-years-old, why would Conte bring in a keeper, who’s getting first team action where he is, only to sit on bench each game?
Conte has stated very strongly that he is happy with his goalkeeping options and a new keeper isn’t in the cards.
