According to Sky, Chelsea face heavy competition for Hoffenheim’s Jeremy Toljan

Chelsea are still looking for wing-backs to add to the squad after losing out on Danilo, Benjamin Mendy and Kyle Walker to Manchester City.

Dani Alves went to PSG, and Alex Sandro looks to be staying put.

Now according to SkySports one possibility that remains for Chelsea is Hoffenheim’s Jeremy Toljan.

Jeremy Toljan is a German professional footballer who plays as a right back for Bundesliga side 1899 Hoffenheim.

However, it’s also reported that Liverpool and Tottenham are very keen on him as well and with a low asking fee of just around ÂŁ3m, it’s not going to be hard for the Premier League giants fork up the cash.

His agent Ersin Akan spoke up on the situation saying:

“It is always a pleasure to read big clubs like Tottenham are interested in Jeremy. Spurs are a fantastic club with an excellent progression in the last years, but we didn’t speak to the responsible persons and, for the moment, everything is a rumour.”

Toljan is said to be a as backup to both Alonso and Moses and could possibly challenge both for the starting position
